Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's said in a statement issued today, Tuesday April 7th, 2009, that President Obama speech in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on April 6th 2009, is nothing but a repetition of the statements and positions of the former U.S. President George W. Bush and it lacks any concrete mechanism for ending the Israeli occupation and aggression against our people.
The spokesperson of the PFLP warned Palestinians against betting on such policies, saying that "empty words means empty words and nothing else" , the statement also said that " standard of sincerity and seriousness is the creation of mechanisms, and a timetable of ending the Israeli occupation by implementing the relevant UN resolutions, to end the occupation , to secure the right of return for all Palestinian refugees, and for our people right to self-determination, freedom and independence".
PFLP called on the Palestinian Authority leadership to leave the policy of illusions and to take serious initiatives to review the futile political process of negotiations and to end the current internal division.
PFLP called for unified national plan that includes all National and Islamic forces to stop the Israeli aggression and to end the siege , by confronting the racist attacks on Palestinians and their land ,holy sites and homes, and to stop the destruction of Palestinians lives in Jerusalem and occupied land in 1948.
